Key takeaway was the need for concrete actions and not words to deter our autocratic adversaries within the ‘Axis of upheaval’ who are engaged across all strategic levers of power in Collective Attack against our Collective Defence.

The only concrete option on the table – and not the silver bullet by any means – was to establish the Defence Security and Resilience Bank to rebuild the global defence finance stack, provide cheap AAA rated loans to democracies and their Defence priority companies and unleash through Guarantees our Commercial Banks and Funds to support our defence industries, increase our manufacturing base, strengthen our supply chains and rebuild our national resilience – to deter and preserve a just peace.

As a famous old Italian said – those who prepare for war, desire peace.
