Eurosatory – OPEWI on Land Logistics

Polish General (ret.) Andrzej Fałkowski rose the OPEWI flag at Eurosatory, for a land logistics panel organised by IESD – Institut d’études de stratégie et de défense. Key points:

1/ Suppliers to Ukraine come from remote places all around the world – Eastern European countries have become logistics hubs since the war began ten years ago.

2/ Maintenance and spare parts are essential. We do not have enough of it. Camouflage techniques also key to protect stockpiles.

3/ Expensive unmanned solutions are not necessarily adapted to new tactical terrains as their heat signature makes them vulnerable to long range targeting…
